Barefoot
Sue Lewin is an early childhood educator,
Sue Lewin
singer and songwriter. She grew up in England and was singing before she could speak.

She has taught in UK, Israel, Thailand and Australia
collecting and writing songs wherever she goes.

In 1988 Sue moved with her family to Brisbane Australia, meeting up with musician Peter Stewart they both began presenting music workshops
to teachers and there was soon a demand for CDs of their songs.

Sue has since presented workshops across the world and at many different conferences
including the Early Childhood Teachers Association and C and K conferences in Brisbane.

Sue and Narelle Oliver have performed ‘Dancing the Boomchacha Boogie’ all over
Queensland but notably at the Brisbane Writers’ Festival and C&K conference in 2005

Sue performed ‘Barefoot: songs of childhood’ with Ann Bermingham at the Woodford
Folk Festival in Queensland in 2002.

On returning to UK in 2006, Sue met teacher and musician Roz Adamson and they
co-wrote and recorded the original children’s musical. The Little Pirate's Adventure
musical was performed in London in 2007 by a ninety strong children’s choir.
