Young Engineers have all sorts of ideas. Join them as they create... Young children are natural engineers, they enjoy creating and building their worlds. They are also fascinated by engineered machines and structures. Young Engineers was created to illustrate the natural links between the worlds of young children at play and engineers at work. Covering twelve engineering disciplines, we hope it encourages adults and young children to share stories about engineering, and to engage in play-based engineering experiences together. In turn, we hope this helps to raise young childrens engineering awareness and sparks their imaginations and creativity. .
From construction sites to spaceships, young children love engineering. And like engineers, they enjoy creating and building their worlds. This natural link provides an ideal opportunity for them to explore engineering discussion, concepts and practice. Young Engineers Projects is a book for young children and their parents or educators, with digital download of songs, each one concentrating on a different aspect of engineering. These songs also feature on the CD Young engineers:-Songs. It introduces engineering in an enjoyable way and encourages children to dream, draw, develop, sing, dance and play.
